Hotel overview
Rooms Vidar is a comfortable 3-star hotel located in Mestre, the lively suburban area of Venice. Set close to Viale Forte Marghera and the bustling Piazza Ferretto, the property sits within reach of local trattorias and bars that deliver a genuine Italian neighborhood feel. Despite the absence of an on-site restaurant or pool, guests enjoy modern, air-conditioned rooms with reliable complimentary Wi-Fi and convenient parking.
Its prime advantage lies in seamless accessibility to Venice itself via nearby bus and tram connections across the Liberty Bridge, allowing a stress-free daily transit to iconic landmarks. After visiting renowned sights such as Ponte di Rialto or Saint Mark's Basilica, travelers appreciate returning to a quieter, well-kept home base. Hosts are frequently commended for their attentiveness and helpful local advice, making the stay personalized and smooth. While Mestre lacks some of Venice’s charm, Rooms Vidar balances practical location with comfort, especially for those valuing easy city access and clean, spacious rooms.
